East Africa Community has a population of 344 million and a combined GDP as of late 2025 US$354 billions. It covers a landmass of approximately 5.45 million square kilometres, roughly 22 times the area of the United Kingdom. It is rich in resources that the industrial world needs.

South East Asia population of more than 700 million and GDP of almost US$5 trillion placing as the 4th largest economy.

These blocs are at different levels of economic development. Within the blocs member countries, each has different needs to fuel their growth.
